i talked to someone on the phone that was having a issue like mine as well. he said he was trying to get a hold of you. anyways im running the xfi with internal logger (no traction control) also using the caspers adapter box.


also you have a tracking #? hope it get here before i leave for arizona

there are a few guys (like 4) that are having this issue. I hope to have it nailed down here this week. Your interface harness is the Caspers' one with the plastic box, right?

Your unit shipped out last week. I will dig up the tracking number.

bob, got the 2 step back.

O another thing that just clicked in my head. i have caspers 84/85 CCCI Hotwire Special Uses 87 CCCI MODULE and COIL [102084]

so my coil is hotwired if that makes a difference


also can you please post in here when you get a fix for the 2 step.

I will need to know more about the caspers kit. Can you take some pics?

There are a couple guys with XFI's having issues with the 2-step, its only XFI guys and I think its related to Ignition Module grounding.

I will know more soon.

bob, just got back from arizona. ran the car with the 2 step powered up but bypassed at the ecm. anyways i will be heading back out there in 2 weeks and i can play around with it.

What pics do you need me to take?

I need to disconnect my caspers ccci hotwire correct?

what else would you like me to do?

disconnect the hotwire for now. Connect everything like stock.

See how it works, and drop me a line at bob@bailey-eng.com either way.

We can step thru troubleshooting it from there.
