Default Screenshot of boost control

See the attached. I have added some text to explain how the adjustments in the Translator Pro affect the spool and boost control.

Enjoy!

Hey Bob... Again I want to thank you for all the help lately with my MAFT Pro setup. I've got it running damn good now other then possably a small bug.

Question about this above boost/spool stuff. After seeing that I happened to look at the MAFTPRO.com home page and saw it was updated. I noticed the fallowing:

Standard Boost Control Solenoid For Pro

What is this? It somewhat looks like a boost control solenoid you would see on an electronic boost controller. Um is that correct?

Can this thing be used for an electronic boost controller too? That would freaking kick ass. I was just about to drop cash on an electronic boost controller. I hope I'm reading this right, although that one says 20 psi. Way to little for us DSM'ers.

Please explain more

The boost control solenoids have more to do with how far above the base wastegate pressure you are trying to go. The standard solenoid goes to 3X the base boost pretty well. The high boost solenoid can go a bunch higher.

The limitations of the solenoids vary from car to car due to wastegate preload, porting, turbo size, and backpressure.

Yup, its a boost controller too......!

O man thats so freaking cool. I really like the idea of this thing more and more every day. I was just about to buy a Blitz EBC but hell, I guess I'll wait now for sure.

Any projected dates and costs?
