Default Scanmaster shows odd reading

Working on 86 Buick GN. At idle, scanmaster shows 950 which would be abnormally rich. However car is not rich. LC1 shows about 16. Is there something I forgot to do to get a CORRECT scanmaster reading?
I put in a NEW 02 sensor just in case. The LC1 has a new separate Bosch 02 sensor.
THANKS IN ADVANCE for any help or suggestions.

The scan master is CORRECT, it CANNOT "make up" numbers it can only display what the computer spits out. The stock O2 should really bounce high and low at idle to check cross counts but very little can be learned from the number. What is your BL and INT and idle? What headers do you have on the car? Is the sensor in the stock location?
