Default Chip Question

I have recently picked up a Gen II translator, I have an extender chip that was set up for a basic translator its about a year old.
Will I be able to set it up for wide band tracking and WOT fuel correction or will I need a reflash on the chip?

In order for the chip to function with the Gen2 as far as all the adjustments (except for auto fuel correction at WOT) then you need the Extender G chip.

To get the WOT fuel correction you need teh Powerlogger and a WB02 sensor and wire it accordingly...cool thing with the PL is you get the upgrade chip for the scanmaster.

you dont need a powerlogger for the tracking to work. An upgrade to a G chip is recommended

Got my reburned chip today.......

when I install it the SES light flickers prior to start up, once I start it it sounds like its running on 4 cylinders.....

Reinstalled my old chip set the GEN2 for the old chip no flashing SES and it fires right up.

I inspected the chip and could see nothing wrong with the contacts.
