Default I have a BUICK what do I need the for the Gen2

You need a Gen2

You need a Buick to Late model GM harness

You need a LS1 3.5" sensor (recommended) or the LT1 3" unit

Option:
Wideband like the Innovate LC1 but most popular units will work

the MAFT pro uses the temp sensor for the speed/density coversion. the MAFT gen 2 is merely a MAF translator, it does not perform the speed/density conversion.

Why is the LS1 3.5" Sensor recommended? Will it fit on my standard MAF Pipe (I think it is 3")?

its less restrictive, has more measurement range, and is cheaper.

No, you use an adapter hose. Works great.

Where do I get the adaptors? I have a 4" cold mouth that currently goes down to the 3" stock 750 cfm MAF unit that then feeds into my 3" aluminum pipe that goes into the PT 61 ball bearing turbo. Or should I just take the easy way out and get the 800cfm 3" MAF LT1 unit and swap out the stocker as opposed to the 1000 cfm 3.5" LS1 MAF unit?

for that setup, I think you should get the larger MAF.

The Cold air kit guys have thos adapters. Full Throttle does too, and has the MAFs available as well.

If you were running a TE44 or something like that then the MAF is not as big a deal. For a 61, the bigger MAF is better.
