Default Scanmaster 3 no display after being stood?.

Hello all, I fitted a Scanmaster 3 OBD1 to my Mitsubishi GTO last year.

It's been a great unit and very handy for keeping an eye on knock counts!.

The car has been sat for 2 months with no use, I turned it on on last week and the Scanmaster doesn't boot up/ display any readings.

Is there anything I can try to get it working?, I have good battery voltage to the unit and it's pluged in securely.

Is it possible to replace the main computer chip inside if it comes to it? (I'm in the UK so posting back and forth is an issue).

Any help or suggestions appreciated!.
