Default Knock, and battery volts go to 0..

I have been fighting what I thought was a 'transitional' knock situation..low boost, passing on the freeway, etc. I hooked up my PL and took the car for a ride, only to realize the battery volts go to ZERO! I have checked grounds and power, nothing loose or hitting the exhaust. Has anyone seen this before? Any suggestions? Thanks for any and all help!!

All I see in that file is the car idling.

Have you double checked your connections on the battery? Nice and clean? Nice and tight?

I have, both ends, multiple times. That was what I first thought of. Neither one is hitting the exhaust or anything hot, both are routed the factory way, no corrosion on the ends..
I noticed that several readings on the gauge display of the PLC do NOT go to zero when the battery drops out..is there a clue there, or is that nothing? Should I add some higher octane fuel and see if the knock goes away at least? Maybe multiple problems?
